20 Prioritised Township Programme (PTP) delivers on its mandate

Gauteng MEC for Housing Ms Nomvula Mokonyane will hand over a newly built clinic, a renovated school and a new tarred road to the community of Sebokeng in Sedibeng District Municipality in the Vaal .

MEC Mokonyane will be accompanied by the MECs for Health Brian Hlongwa, Education Angie Motshekga and Public Transport Roads and Works Ignatius Jacobs.

The projects were built through the 20 PTP which was launched by Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa in 2006. The R3 billion programme is an intergovernmental programme involving both provincial and local government. It is aimed at rehabilitating and development of social and economic infrastructure in the previously marginalised townships.
