Mokonyane launches Old Registered Townships Programme 15 July 2005 Gauteng Housing MEC, Nomvula Mokonyane, and community leaders will host a community meeting and a door-to-door campaign to inform and mobilise residents about the old Registered Townships programme. The programme is aimed at, among other things, formalising rental agreements between landlords and tenants and to provide housing opportunities for families who are currently renting backyard shacks.
