MEC Mokonyane hands over title deeds 21 November 2005 The Gauteng MEC for Housing Nomvula Mokonyane will hand over 700 title deeds to beneficiaries in the Sicelo Shiceka Informal Settlement. The area started off as an informal settlement in the late 90s as people sought accommodation closer to the small town of Meyerton . Some of the residents are from the areas of Evaton and Sebokeng, the majority comes from the surrounding farms as a result of evictions.
